You can look at your raw stats to learn things if you've played 20 games each as two different gods, and you've won 80% with one god and 20% with the other, you're probably a lot more comfortable on the first god.

The number that the game actually uses to place you in matches is known as your MMR (matchmaking rating). When it comes to matchmaking, 'SR' or 'ELO+' mean nothing to Smite - it's just Smiteguru's vague way to rank your play with the data it has available. Not to burst your bubble too much, but Smiteguru says specifically that its ranking of you by its own metrics aren't very accurate and should be taken with a grain of salt.
